Pollonia Beach

The village of Pollonia lies on the extreme northeast corner of Milos, by the 1 km-wide strait at Kimolos. In the little bay around which the village clusters, you will find Pollonia Beach. It is practically one with the harbour. As you would expect, the beach is not especially idyllic but anyone who appreciates the easy access and the closeness of the tavernas and accommodation in Pollonia will like it. Many consider bathing in a harbour out of the question whilst others deem a half-hour drive to Pollonia’s south coast far too much effort. But after all, it’s a matter of taste. The clear plus points are the fine sand, the shallow water and the shade of the trees.
